Ten Hag's position in the Old Trafford dugout has been the subject of speculation over the last 12 months. United finished eighth in the Premier League table but managed to secure European football with victory in the FA Cup final.
According to The Athletic, United have decided that Ten Hag will remain as the club's manager into next season. Multiple reports including Press Association and BBC Sport have also stated that Ten Hag looks set to stay as United manager for next season. A host of names were linked with potentially replacing Ten Hag as United manager in the event of his departure, including Thomas Tuchel, Roberto De Zerbi, Kieran McKenna and Mauricio Pochettino. Now those rumours may come to an end with the suggestions being that Ten Hag has the full backing of Ineos and the United hierarchy heading into the 2024/25 season.
