Prospective Man United investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe needs to put the club's supporters at the very heart of his decision-making.
After almost a year of speculation and silence from the Glazer family, Manchester United's future is edging closer to becoming that little bit clearer.
Though that is fully understandable, Ratcliffe would not be planning to invest in United without the ambition of hoping to make a positive impact. As a boyhood United supporter, Ratcliffe should understand the supporters' feelings. He needs to try and assist the club by rebuilding a connection. "Managers and players inevitably pass with time, but the love of the fans endures. Ownership is temporary.
