Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is yet to be convinced that Erik ten Hag is the man who will be manager of the club next season

Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen believes minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe 'won’t be scared of making big decisions' as he decides whether Erik ten Hag has a future at Old Trafford.

When asked for his thoughts on the United manager, Owen gave a worrying verdict that could be costly for the Dutchman. He told EPL Index: "I’d be replacing him. Earlier this year, MEN Sport reported that Ratcliffe was unconvinced by Ten Hag but was willing to give him the remainder of the season to help prove a case as to why he should stay. It is understood that the INEOS founder would have looked favourably on United finishing in the top four and winning the FA Cup.
