Six men have been arrested after last night's game
Six men were arrested following a East Lancashire derby between Burnley Football Club and Blackburn Rovers Football Club.A 35-year-old man from Chatburn and a 42-year-old man from Lower Darwen were both arrested in Ewood Park on suspicion of common assault.A man was arrested on suspicion of pitch encroachment. A 33-year-old man from Blackburn was arrested in Blackburn town centre on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
Police have also received reports that missile throwing took place during the game. An investigation is underway and footage will be reviewed and the appropriate action will be taken.
