“We have chosen Freckleton for two reasons: firstly, we are keen to support a local run and secondly because it’s quite a special event – it’s the UK’s oldest half marathon and it’s also celebrating its 60th year, so it seemed perfect for an attempt at breaking the ‘fastest half marathon in a six-person-connected-costume record.’ Pete Bosely, this year’s Run Director, has been very supportive and we are grateful to have the chance and show what girls dressed up can do.
