Emergency services rushed to the A9 following a crash between a car and a recovery vehicle.
Six people have been rushed to hospital and two have been arrested following a horror crash on the A9.
Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and a recovery vehicle at the road’s Glentruim junction between Ralia and Dalwhinnie at around 6.30pm on Thursday.A 52-year-old male driver of the car was arrested and charged over the incident and is due to appear in court at a later date.Top news stories today A spokesperson for Police Scotland Highland and Islands said:
"We received a report of a crash involving a car and a recovery vehicle on the A9 at the Glentrium junction around 6.30pm on Thursday, 20 June, 2024."The road was closed to allow for recovery and fully reopened around 10.15pm. "The 52-year-old male driver of the car was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear in court at a later date.
"The 44-year-old male driver of the recovery vehicle was arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing."
