The SNP Finance Secretary announced a whole host of measures, including on health and welfare.
Shona Robison announced the SNP 's tax and spending plans for the next year in Holyrood on Wednesday afternoon.She said the Budget was "filled with hope for Scotland’s future."
Robison admitted the experience some patients were currently facing in Scotland "falls short of what we would expect". Each council will be able to choose their own rates of council tax, with some threatening to do so last year before negotiations with the SNP Government.Robison announced that there would be no change to the rates before the next Holyrood election in 18 months' time.
Housing The Record had revealed before the Budget that the Scottish Government would ramp up the mount of money available for housing.
