There are more options than the traditional route to getting a degree Curiously
For many people, a university degree is now essential to your career, but with tuition fees currently averaging at £9,250 and potentially rising, it can feel out of reach. Traditional paths to a degree aren't for everyone, depending on your grades, financial situation, and personal circumstances.
Degree Apprenticeships Can't wait to get started in the world of work? A degree apprenticeship might be the perfect fit for you. You can earn a Bachelor's or even Master's degree while also gaining experience working in the industry, and your employer covers your tuition fees leaving you student-loan free. Most of these are advertised on UCAS, so you can check out if any are right for you.
Studying abroad This won't be an option for everyone, but if you can it's worth looking into studying abroad. Countries like Germany, Norway, and Finland can offer free or low-cost tuition for international students, and their cost of living might be lower than here in the UK, so while it sounds like it would be a pricier option, it could work out cheaper in the long-run.
