Neil Canney was allegedly gunned down on his doorstep
A sixth man has now been charged in connection with the death of a Greenock dad who was allegedly gunned down on his doorstep.
Police previously charged five men in connection with the death. Earlier we told that, three months on, officers had now also arrested a 24-year-old. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Neil Canney in Greenock. Mr Canney, 37, was found seriously injured in Nairn Road around 1.15am on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
