One of them spoke to Leeds Live about his emotions upon his World Cup selection
Leeds United will be represented on four fronts at this summer’s World Cup with supporters bound to keep a keen eye on how each one progresses.

This will be Okafor’s second World Cup, having played in three of Switzerland’s four games at the 2022 finals.
He came on as a substitute each time, having missed a 1-0 group stage defeat to Brazil due to a muscle injury. His longest stint came in the 6-1 round of 16 mauling by Portugal, when he played 24 minutes. Overall, his World Cup game time stands at 43 minutes. Tanaka is the only player out of the Leeds quarter to have scored a World Cup goal - albeit with a touch of controversy.
