Sky Glass and Sky Stream have introduced a variety of music channels, including NOW 70s, NOW 80s, NOW ROCK, NOW 90s and 00s, and Clubland TV, to their platform to address the gap caused by previous closures. The move aims to cater to music enthusiasts who still find value in music video channels despite the rise of on-demand streaming services.
Sky Glass and Sky Stream have recently introduced several music channels to their platform, aiming to fill the void left by numerous closures earlier this year. The move comes as a response to the significant gap in the music section of TV services, particularly noticeable on these internet-based TV platforms which previously had fewer music channels compared to traditional satellite services. The new additions include NOW 70s, NOW 80s, NOW ROCK, NOW 90s and 00s, and Clubland TV.
However, NOW 90s and 00s have been temporarily rebranded as NOW XMAS for the festive period, and their availability was delayed by more than two weeks. Despite the decline in the popularity of music video channels over the years, there remains a demand for these services among music enthusiasts
