It's been available for a while not but Sky has recently confirmed that it's making this offering a lot cheaper thanks to its new Sky Essentials TV package
If you've been on the fence about getting a Sky TV package but don't fancy the high monthly fees, now might be the perfect time to make the leap. That's because there's a new alternative to the old-fashioned dish and it is much cheaper than you might think.
For just £15 a month, users will have access to plenty of live and on-demand channels - including Sky Atlantic, as well Netflix and Discover+ thrown in at no additional cost. Of course, that low price does mean you will miss out on some channels such as Sky Max, Sky Documentaries Sky Witness but it's still a decent deal to start your Sky experience.
It also features personalised recommendations, a simply way to store content to watch at a later date and it comes pre-loaded with apps such as Disney+ and Apple TV+. If that £15 deal doesn't sound like it offers enough to watch then you can switch to another new plan called Sky Ultimate TV which costs £22 per month.
Speaking about the changes, Ben Case, Managing Director Sky TV, said: “We’re excited to share our world-class TV experience with even more people, at an everyday low price with Sky Essential TV. Our new TV pack makes it easier than ever to get the biggest and best shows from Sky, Netflix and discovery+ all in one place, just in time for the Christmas TV season.”
