Sky is making it easier than ever to switch to its broadband and full fibre service as the telecoms giant debuts a new 'One Touch Switch' process
Sky is keen for UK households to consider switching to its broadband service. The telecoms and TV company has not only reduced the price of its fast internet to the 'lowest ever' but is also offering a simpler way to change providers.
There's no need for the new customer to contact their current internet provider as everything is transferred smoothly with one call. One Touch Switch is a fresh industry-wide initiative from Ofcom aimed at simplifying the supplier transfer process for consumers. Customers making the switch can speak to an agent by phone between 8am and 8pm, or use the online chat feature from 8pm to 8am for "round-the-clock" support. If the idea of switching is appealing, there's a new deal offering its Full Fibre 500 package at Sky's lowest ever price.
She further emphasised Sky's commitment to service by adding: "As the UK's only major provider with a 24/7 broadband switching support service, we can help with round-the-clock questions about your Sky Broadband or even change your Full Fibre installation date in the early hours of the morning."
