Liverpool have reportedly submitted a bid for Atalanta midfielder Ederson while Bruno Guimaraes has discussed his Newcastle United future amid Anfield links
New Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is close to agreeing in principle to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson, according to reports.
According to Jorge Nicola, Liverpool had made the bid but there was no inkling as to how the Serie A side responded to the supposed offer. The Reds saw first hand the quality that Ederson possessed after his showings in Europe, the Bergamo side stunned Liverpool on course to their historic European triumph.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have been named as one of the clubs interested in Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes. Despite the ongoing links away from St James' Park, Bruno admits he is honoured to be linked with some of Europe's elite but confessed his happiness under Eddie Howe.
