Settlement documents have revealed the snacks entrepreneur has bought one of two neighbouring properties fronting Snapperman Beach being offered by Mr Malouf. The second property – which is still on the market with a guide price of $23 million – is a colourful Palm Springs-style 1960s waterfront home named Gidget.Ian Malouf’s Palm Beach property Gidget is still for sale guiding $23 million.

The $25 million sale was handled by LJ Hooker’s David and BJ Edwards, who declined to comment on the deal.Joanna McNivenAside from the views and flat access to the waterfront, its value lay in the fact it is the only three-level property on the exclusive strip.
