Kacey Leigh, a nursery worker from Burnley, was shocked when a large snake emerged from her toilet. Suspecting it was an escaped pet, Kacey and her boyfriend contacted the RSPCA, who attempted to retrieve the snake but were unsuccessful. The snake retreated back down the pipes, leaving the couple hesitant to use the bathroom.

They can grow to almost 6ft long. Native to the US, the non-venomous predators are known to kill prey via constriction. The RSPCA attended the home on Friday after they spotted it at 6am at their home in Burnley. Attempts were made to retrieve the snake.
