Move over Olympians, there’s a new MVP in town.
After spending the better part of a week traveling with the Team USA squad in several disciplines, Snoop Dogg has boldly declared himself as the Most Valuable Player at the Olympic Games.
“The Next Episode” hitmaker is currently serving as a Special Correspondent for NBC during the Games, and is slated to regularly appear in “Primetime in Paris.”The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., earlier this week met up with the most decorated Olympian, Michael Phelps, for a swim lesson.
“I felt a lot of brotherhood, of camaraderie. I felt them ego-checking themselves at the door,” he said of the team, fronted by Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.“I think they know what this is. They know that this team was put together reminiscent of ‘The Dream Team,’ the spirit of having the best of the best represent the country. It’s not about me; it’s about we.”
