A yellow warning for snow and ice is in place until 10am and a second warning comes into place on Thursday
Snow has hit some Northern Ireland areas as a yellow weather warning remains in place.The forecaster said: "Snow showers and icy patches likely to cause some travel disruption."A "bitterly cold night" is expected on Tuesday, with a minimum temperature of -8C predicted.will come into place at 3am on Thursday, March 9, until 6pm on Friday, March 10, as "heavy snow" is expected.
On Tuesday morning, Trafficwatch NI said: "Temperatures through the night fell below freezing across many parts of the province."Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads."
