The manager of the snowed in Tan Hill Inn says the staff and patrons have "tender heads" this morning after "partying the night away" in the ultimate lock in.
The Tan Hill Inn, in Yorkshire, is 528 metres above sea level and gets hit hard by extreme weather. In 2021, the pub, which also has seven guest rooms, made global headlines when 50 people got stuck in the pub after watching an Oasis tribute band. The pub manager, who has been snowed in since Tuesday, said: "I’m the only one up – I think everyone’s got a bit of a tender head from our party last night. So, the pub’s very silent this morning!"
Yesterday , manager David Rowell, 43, said: “Staff are a little tired, but other than that it’s all right. The staff that are currently here, this is day seven for them working here. This will be their third day stuck.
