In his weekly general election column for the Record, the SNP leader at Westminster argues Scotland’s voice will be more powerful if voters choose an alternative to Labour and the Tories.

Never put a hat on in the house before you go outside into the cold. Don’t eat yellow snow. If it’s raining, take a brolley. Just a few casual examples of ancient scripture passed down by generations of working-class Scottish mums to their kids.

No amount of butter is saving that. Get it straight in the bin. And that’s where the Tories are going on July 4. With that in mind, we turn to Sir Keir Starmer I was genuinely shocked last week as the Labour Leader flew North to deliver his Scottish sales pitch but left behind his GB flag branded placards.

Let’s think about that for a second. When it comes to stability, we all know what that looks like in Westminster. It means more of Brexit, it means less cash for the NHS, it means continuing arms sales to Israel. Here's he good news though. In Scotland, we have a choice that voters in England don’t. We know that we don’t have to just quietly follow along with this say nothing, sell stability strategy.
