First Minister Humza Yousaf joined candidate Katy Loudon at Tempo Community Space on Saturday in Rutherglen as part of the campaign trail.
With voters set to make their minds up tomorrow regarding the Rutherglen & Hamilton West seat in the by-election, the SNP have promised that their candidate will not be a party ‘yes man’ as they look to send Westminster a message.

He stated that the by-election was a chance to send a message to Westminster, and said: “Right now, people are paying the price for Westminster’s cost of living crisis and deserve politicians like Katy Loudon who will stand up for the proper support they deserve. “The SNP has never, and will never, take a single vote for granted – I am proud to share our positive vision for Scotland with voters throughout this campaign.”
