Addressing campaigners, the First Minister vowed to ensure justice for women born in the 1950s affected by increases to their retirement age.He said: 'Votes for the SNP are the quickest way to get rid of the Tory MPs and Tory government from Scotland.'Women Against State Pension Inequality say that millions suffered financially as a result as they were not given sufficient warning of the change.
Elsewhere in his speech, Swinney said: “We’ve got a fantastic opportunity in Scotland today to do something decisive to protect the people of Scotland.and the cost of living crisis on Scotland and the SNP are the challengers in every single Tory-held constituency in Scotland. He added “we’ve got to make sure we do everything we possibly can do” to help candidates as he spoke alongside Tracey Little – the party’s candidate in Dumfries and Galloway.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
