Celebrities and professional footballers united to raise money for Unicef.

Soccer Aid returned despite the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday, and the star players paid tribute to theAll of the players were seen taking a knee ahead of kick-off, in solidarity with the movement before beginning their game.

The star-studded England XI took on the Rest of the World XI, while fans were able to watch the match from home on ITV.The match was played at Old Trafford in Manchester after being moved to Stamford Bridge for last year’s event.Taking part for England were celeb players Marvin Humes, Olly Murs, Joe Wicks, Paddy McGuinness, Mark Wright, Alfie Allen, James Bay, John Bishop, Chunkz, Joel Dommett, Liv Cooke, Tom Davis, Danny Jones and Yung Filly.

The professionals representing Rest Of The World were Michael Essien, Patrice Evra, Julie Fleeting, Darren Fletcher, Shay Given, Robbie Keane, Claude Makelele, Lianne Sanderson and Mikael Silvestre.As well as the poignant symbol for BLM, Olly Murs revealed the importance of the money raised by the event for Unicef.
