Some seven weeks out from major knee surgery, Sofia Vergara made her way to a lunch date with a gal pal in West Hollywood.
The actress and television personality, 51, showed she has taken huge steps forward in her recovery in the wake of the operation on her right knee.
Situated at the corner of the corner of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard, Vergara seemed to be in good spirits when she met up with her friend at Cecconi's restaurant Vergara also took to her Instagram page, where she shared a couple of photos from their lunch date showing their was a third party at their table.
A second photo caught the pet pooch sitting above the table with two large strawberry dessert dishing on the table just inches away. The actress and television personality wore thick-soled sneakers along with denim cargo pants and a red blouse for her afternoon outing Vergara introduced her new dog in early April on Instagram, and then the pair shared the spotlight when they posed together for her cover photo for People's Beautiful Issue.
The black and white puppy has already made a splash with fans, as well as with Vergara's son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who sat with the cutie in a video he shared on April 9 on his Instagram.
