Our client is looking for a software developer to develop and maintain in-house actuarial valuation software.Ability to analyse complex actuarial processes and translate them into efficient software solutions.
Skilled in troubleshooting issues within legacy systems like Delphi, particularly with flat file architectures, and determining optimal paths for modernisation.Capable of maintaining and enhancing legacy Delphi systems while planning long-term upgrades. Strong knowledge of database design and management, including experience with flat file systems and relational databases . Experience migrating systems from flat file databases to relational databases, ensuring data integrity, normalisation and improved query performance. Familiarity with transitioning applications from standalone/flat file systems to a client-server architecture, understanding the advantages of scalability, security and performance.Strong actuarial technical skills Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to .
