The DOE released the Green Energy Auction Program winning bids on Friday after the electronic bidding on June 17.
Solar Philippines won 70 percent of the capacity in the auction, capturing 1,380 MW of the 1,966 MW bids offered across all technologies.It captured 91 percent of all solar capacity at 1,350 MW of the 1,490 MW solar capacity auctioned. Other winning bids for solar capacities are PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc.’s 40.4-MW PAVI Green Naga solar project and Green Energy Solutions Inc.’s 99.98-MW Talugtug solar project in Luzon.
