. It’s the conclusion to the first part of the Colin and Penelope saga, and early indications are that its viewership is about to crush past seasons, which were already some of Netflix’s most-watched shows. It’s on the Stranger Things trajectory, it seems.
You may be wondering if Bridgerton is headed to a season 4 after this, to which the answer is “of course.” This is not a mystery, both in terms of how well the show has performed, but way back in April of 2021, while season 2 was stillNetflix double-renewed the series for both seasons 3 and 4, something I don’t think I’ve ever seen from the service before.
“We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language,” she said. “And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up but somewhere in that range.”So, between 1 and 2 was less than two years, but now as things ramp up, it seems that two years is going to be the standard going forward.
