The world's most famous hedgehog uses his speedy skills to fend off a nefarious new enemy in the new trailer for Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Paramount has already set a December 20 release date, putting it up against Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King. The trailer begins with Tom Wachowski telling Sonic, 'You finally found your family,' as they show shots of Tails and Knuckles. 'Shadow's story began a lot like yours, Sonic, but where you found family and friends, Shadow only found pain and loss,' the military man adds.
They show the evil Shadow stepping out from his broken containment unit, as the military man says, 'Project Shadow is far beyond anything we've ever encountered'
