Graeme Souness 'sounded out' for top job at Rangers this season
The Scottish giants are planning to meet their former manager following initial talks a few weeks ago.Souness played for and managed Rangers during an iconic careerthe 70-year-old would only return to Ibrox if the new role was 'worthwhile and meaningful'.
Since then, manager Michael Beale has been hands-on in the transfer market and doing much of Wilson's previous role, however this is unlikely to be sustainable in the long run. After the news was confirmed, the former Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Rangers man told Sky Sports: “I’m going to miss you guys, the guys behind the scenes, our make-up girl, I’ll miss you all.
