“Really hard to deal with knowing that someone I've been in contact with since I was 16 years old , its been real difficult,” said the source."We still don't know why and where these women were going and where they were exactly coming from. We do not know their exact relationship together. All that is still under investigation," said OSBI. "Of course, this is still the initial stages too.
KVII also asked OSBI what kind of shape the car was in when it was found, what was found inside it, if there are any suspects, and the whereabouts of the children. All of that is still under investigation. The person close to Butler said they're trying to hope for the best. But they know the odds of a positive outcome are lower the longer the women are missing.
"I know the first 24-48 hours are the most crucial time to try to find someone and knowing that it’s been longer than that it’s taking a toll on us," said the source.
