The South Australian Government is set to announce a widespread vaping crackdown under a new five-year strategy.

Under new legislation to be tabled today will outlaw e-cigarette usage in outdoor places such as schools, shops, and beaches.

It’s hoped the new rules will drive down overall smoking usage across the state after new data revealed a 7 per cent jump in vaping among teenagers and young adults since 2017.
