‘We’re witnessing a step-change in how mineral exploration is conducted’: Hudson
Southern Cross Gold has reported more success at its Sunday Creek project in Victoria, with three holes intersecting mineralisation to the east and down-dip of the Apollo prospect in a location predicted by an artificial intelligence-assisted mineral discovery platform.Managing director Mike Hudson said the common thread linking all three drillholes at Apollo East was VRIFY AI.
The second hole tested a large gap in the data, intersecting eleven vein sets across Apollo East to Apollo Deeps, with multiple intersections exceeding 20gpt gold and 5% antimony while extending two high-grade vein zones 20-60m down-dip.Downhole assays included 22m at 4gpt AuEq from 505m, over 7.8m at 7.5gpt AuEq from 548m, including 0.6m at 81.9gpt.The third hole, at Apollo East, encountered four vein sets, two of which were new, with highlighted assays of 3.5m at 6.
