An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.HATE CRIME: A 49-year-old man told police he was battered by at least two people April 5 in the parking lot in the 7300 block of 93rd Street because of opinions about the Middle East he was posting on social media, police said.

STALKING ALLEGED: A 42-year-old Park Forest man who has initiated at least nine unwanted contacts with a female neighbor since January 2022 has been charged with stalking, according to police and court records online. Ivan G. Williams Jr., 100 block of Shabbona Drive, was maced Friday by a relative of the neighbor after he disregarded her demand that he stay away, police said.

DUI CRASH: Brian K. Stewart, 28, 1900 block of Adams Street, Chicago Heights, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court in Markham June 17, charged with drunken driving, hit and run, driving without insurance and illegally transporting alcohol, police said. Stewart drove away after side-swiping several parked cars on Juniper Street May 2, police said.

BATTERY: An argument between two school cafeteria workers over expired milk at the Michelle Obama School of Technology and the Arts ended with one charged with battery to a police officer and resisting arrest, police said. Keevon M. Taylor, 26, 25700 block of Linden Avenue, Monee, was taken into custody May 3, police said. Taylor and his female co-worker threw cartons of milk at each other and traded punches around 10:20 a.m. before he was subdued by the school liaison officer, police said.

ARMED ROBBERY: A male guest at Woodspring Suites, 18636 West Creek Drive, was robbed May 22 at gunpoint by two men as he pulled his car into a parking space, police said.
