Shocking CCTV footage reveals the moment Southport triple murderer Axel Rudakubana waits for a taxi before he committed his horrific crimes. The footage shows the 18-year-old pacing anxiously outside his house before entering the taxi and heading towards the Hart Space dance studio.

This is the moment Southport monster Axel Rudakubana waits for a taxi to take him to a dance class where he murdered three children. The teenager can be seen pacing up and down 30 minutes before stabbing Bebe King, six, Elsie Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, to death. The triple killer's taxi driver arrives at around 11:30 am - around half an hour before he wreaked death and destruction at a dance studio in Southport .

He asked the cab to take him to the Hart Space, where he got out without paying and walked up the stairs to the yoga workshop and started attacking children. He entered the session at 11:45 am and within seconds screams could be heard, attracting the attention of passers-by. Despite the brave attempts to stop the attack, Bebe, Elsie, and Alice died from their injuries and at least ten other children were also stabbed. Officers surrounded the property with guns drawn and took his mum and dad out of the house and placed them into squad cars while teams carried out searches. A shocked neighbour told The Sun how cops swooped on the quiet street at around 12:20 pm last July 29 as news of the awful attack was emerging. The man - called Danny - said: 'I was with a friend at the time and he suddenly became anxious, and said that some kids had been stabbed at a nursery in Southport. He was worried about his own son, so we both jumped in the car. 'Once we heard my friend's son was ok we headed towards Southport. We knew whatever had happened must have been bad by the police presence.” Danny said when he returned to Old School Close in Banks where he lived just yards from the Rudakbana family and he realised something was wrong.Danny said the day turned into a nightmare, as police put a cordon in place at the entrance to the close and increased their presence outside Axel's house. He said: 'I just could not believe what I was seeing. But I checked my doorbell footage to see what had happened earlier and saw Axel pacing up and down outside his house on the day of the attack.' The man, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: 'I saw the police outside the house on several occasions before the attack. They must have been there a couple of times earlier in the year.'He said: 'The family was very private and his brother was disabled. I heard Axel had been removed from school due to issues around his behaviour. So I thought it was linked to that.'He said: 'I never saw him on a bike or skateboard. Never kicking a ball or doing anything normal like that. Never saw him wearing a football shirt. I only ever saw him with his parents.' The police search at the Rudakabana home - which led to a container of ricin being found in the teenager’s bedroom - continued for around six weeks and appeared to take a sinister turn. Danny said: “The police activity at the house was fairly routine, until they began to dig up the back garden. 'Things suddenly seemed to escalate, with a tent going up in the front garden too. At one point there were mini-buses dropping officers off in the road, all to search Axel's home. They were removing more and more items from the house which was pretty scary. “There's quite a bit of upset from the neighbours. We were never informed to the extent of what was found, considering it was ricin.
