He was branded 'dishonest'
Alistair Bradley was ordered to carry out a 48-month warning period after it emerged he did not seek medical advice after a patient in his care fell on February 13, 2022, while working with Community Care Choice Ltd in Shawlands. found that Bradley lifted the man up himself, instead of following protocol and asking for assistance, and never recorded the incident in the official log book.Later that day, Bradley reported an assault to his employer but failed to bring up the man's fall.
During a meeting with management on February 16, stated Bradley claimed the patient, known as AA, did not fall and claimed he hadn't picked him up off the floor, which the SSSC branded"dishonest" and the behaviours were"serious in nature". "Social services workers are also expected to always work with honesty and integrity. By not telling your employer that AA had fallen to his injury, you have failed to act honestly because you sought to conceal that AA had fallen and that you helped him up.
