Spain has launched a fresh attack on UK holidaymakers' wallets and purses, by introducing a brand-new daily surcharge for some amid the Cost of Living crisis.
It has been reported that Spain will make UK holidaymakers pay more by adding a daily fee for some visitors.
This extra money will help make things better for the environment. Other spots in Spain might do the same thing, with talks of more charges for people on holiday before the warmer months come. The tax has faced criticism from many sources including ABTA, but the vice president of the Balearics coalition government Biel Barcelo has described the tax as 'absolutely necessary' to conserve the environment.
