Passengers on Boeing 737 plane arriving from Liverpool uninjured in incident which forced closure of main southern runway
Sparks were visible emanating from a Ryanair flight as it landed in Dublin on Sunday night, forcing the closure of the Southern runway for several hours.
The airport authority, DAA said passengers disembarked the aircraft normally. Air Traffic flows into Dublin Airport were restricted during the incident. In a statement, Ryanair said the flight from Liverpool to Dublin"experienced a minor technical issue with its nose-landing gear upon landing".
