Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has spearheaded the distribution of financial aid to some 2,000 drivers and student-beneficiaries in Bulacan province.
The move was in line with the policy of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to provide better services to the people through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations of the Department of Social Welfare and Development under Sec. Rex Gatchalian, a former congressman and mayor of Valenzuela City.
“This center represents more than just a building; it is a pillar of hope. It stands as a symbol that, despite the challenges and adversities, the spirit of bayanihan prevails,” he said as he inaugurated the Alagang Tingog Center in the first district of Bulacan on Wednesday. “This initiative is a testament to Tingog party-list’s unwavering dedication to delivering assistance and care to our kababayans. Our mission is clear: To ensure that government services reach every nookThe Speaker said he was glad that characteristics like the power of unity, service, and compassion are still common among Filipinos, regardless of their status in life.
“Chairperson Yedda Marie and House Deputy Majority Leader Jude Acidre of Tingog party-list have demonstrated unparalleled commitment and drive, ensuring that the ATC is not just an idea but a tangible reality,” the Speaker said.
