Sinagot ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang mga tanong ng mga mamamahayag tungkol sa kaniyang plano sa midterm elections sa 2025, at presidential elections sa 2028.
Sa tanong kung tatakbo ba siyang senador sa 2025, sinabi ni Romualdez na muli siyang kakandidato bilang kinatawan ng 1st district ng Leyte na hawak niya ngayon sa Kamara de Representantes.
“Siguro, mananatili muna ako sa 1st District ng Leyte, and I’ll just do my work kasi marami pang kailangang itapos d’yan sa first district,” sabi ng kongresista ng makapanayam sa isang proyekto sa National Kidney Transplant Institute nitong Miyerkules. Sa tanong kung tatakbo ba siyang pangulo sa 2028 batay sa mga espekulasyon ng iba, sinabi ni Romualdez na,"Matagal pa 'yon.
