A special hospital in the Ribble Valley linked to an estimated 100 acres of land could be vacated by the end of 2023, councillors have heard in updates about NHS health and adult social care changes.

Coun Peat’s report stated: “The two county council presentations outlined the strategies in those areas. The NHS presentation was informative, bearing in mind that the Integrated Care Board was only 12 days old [at the date of the meeting]. A scrutiny programme will be developed for these services, which will be reported on later this year.”
