Princess Beatrice paid a special tribute to her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, with her sentimental choice of her wedding dress when she married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in July 2020
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi announced their engagement in September 2019 and the couple married in a private ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor Great Park on July 17, 2020.
Princess Beatrice's wedding dress was particularly special as it was adapted from one of the late Queen's dresses which she had previously worn to the premiere of the Lawrence of Arabia in 1962. Beatrice's look was completed by Queen Mary's Russian Fringe tiara which the late Queen previously wore when she married Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten in 1947.
While the wedding was a far cry from what royal fans were used to, there were a number of traditions that were broken before and throughout the day.
