Gary Hopps, 67, died in his Springtown home under hospice care at the end of June, his wife told WFAA.

We thank customers for their patience as internet providers work to resolve the issue," the company's post read., the website that tracks service outages nationwide, shows a spike in reports of outages for Verizon customers in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas around 1 p.m.
