Producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller have clearly strained every creative sinew to best their 2018 animated hit - officially the best-reviewed Marvel movie of all time, according to Rotten Tomatoes.Miles is still hiding his secret Spider-Man identity from his increasingly exasperated parents . Though that’s becoming a struggle as his superhero demands take over.
There’s also a new nemesis on the block, called The Spot , so-called because he’s dotted all over with portals to other worlds, plus Miles is desperate to join up to the Spider-Society – a secret, multi-verse web full of Spider-men/women/beings from other Spider-dimensions – which he’s introduced to by his returning crush, Spider-Gwen .
