The official episode count for Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television's upcoming Spider-Man Noir series has been revealed.
series, Cage is expected to once again lend his voice to the character in the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
“The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” reads the official logline.During a recent interview, Cage confirmed that the upcoming Noir series will officially have eight 45-minute-long episodes. This marks the acclaimed actor’s first major scripted TV project, following his first TV appearance in 1981’s The Best of Times pilot.
“Forty-five minutes. I mean, it’s eight episodes. So it’s the equivalent of four movies in five months,” Cage toldreceived an official series order from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. It is expected to make its debut domestically on MGM+, and globally on Prime Video.
“Expanding the Marvel universe with Noir is a uniquely special opportunity, and we are honored to bring this series to our global Prime Video customers,” Amazon boss Vernon Sanders said in a previous statement when the series was first announced.
