Ruben Amorim will become the next Manchester United manager on November 11 but before then he will manage Sporting on three final occasions
Sporting supporters have warned Ruben Amorim that he is no longer welcome in Lisbon ahead of the first of three farewell matches for the Portuguese head coach before he joins Manchester United.
Unsurprisingly, United officially announced the arrival of Amorim on Friday to end the speculation surrounding the head coach's future. The Reds confirmed that Amorim would officially start work in Manchester on November 11, allowing him to take charge of three matches before starting his new career in the Premier League.READ MORE: Seven top pundits share Amorim verdict
While Amorim would likely want to take these remaining games as an opportunity to bid farewell to the fans, some supporters have shown their distain for their outgoing boss before kick off. As reported by Record, some fans in Lisbon have hung a banner outside a block of flats with a brutal message for Amorim.
