Hundreds of runners took part in the event today
Runners took to the course to complete either a 5K, 10K, or half marathon - and for some it was a morning of beating their personal bests.
The race involved laps around the world famous circuit with one lap for the 5k, two laps for the 10k and four laps for the Half Marathon. Those taking part in the February 9 event were doing so for charity St Joseph's Hospice. The independent charity that cares for around 170 people with a range of life-limiting conditions every year, is the charity of the year partner for all Run Aintree events in 2025.photographer Iain Watts was there to capture brilliant moments from today's race.
