A major springtime snowstorm is moving through New England, bringing heavy snow, rain and ice to the region.

In the lakes region of New Hampshire up to Maine, totals were expected to be somewhat lower at 6 inches to a foot with sleet and freezing rain mixing in.during Saturday night's ice storm. Folks were out Sunday surveying the damage. Breed said the hardest hit areas are from the New Hampshire border all the way up towards Belfast. More than 300 utility crews were out fixing power lines and cleaning roads and they couldn't begin the bulk of the work until Sunday morning, leaving folks like Mayghan Farrin and her son Boston still without power Sunday.
