Ramsdale was attacked by a Spurs fan and started a melee on pitch after keeping a superb clean sheet in the north London derby
Asked about the incident in a post match interview, Ramsdale explained what happened from his perspective.
“The Spurs fans were giving me some throughout the second half. I gave them some back, which to the few people that I did do it to was probably well greeted, sportsmanship-like,” he told Sky Sports. “And then a fan tried to jumped over and give me a little punch on the back… It’s a shame because it’s just a game of football at the end of the day.”
