A YouTuber has proven that Yor Forger's supposedly "impossible" hairstyle from Spy x Family is actually doable. Yor has become an iconic heroine for fans of the hit series since she debuted in Spy x Family's second episode. However, her hair design has been joked about by creator Tatsuya Endo as being impossible in a gag panel from the manga's third volume. However, one YouTuber has since proven this wrong with a fascinating tutorial video.
It's amazing to see that what was likely just a joke at first was ultimately proven possible years after it was published. However, there are some details to Mei Yan's method that could hold the key to how she made it work. Mei Yan Makes One Small Yet Important Change to Tatsuya Endo's Guide This Tiny Adjustment Made Yor's Hairstyle a Reality For the most part, Mei Yan recreates the guide from Spy x Family Vol. 3 perfectly, right down to letting the hair dangle along the ends. However, she makes one notable change that is likely the reason why she made it work. Before she crosses the two halves of her hair over her head as the tutorial suggests in step three, she takes each part and twists them a bit.
By lightly twisting her hair before crossing the split halves, Mei Yan essentially strengthens the parts that will dangle near her ears, preventing them from falling apart. This allows the hairstyle to have more structure. While Endo's guide doesn't necessarily call for it, it's still a fascinating alteration that allows what was likely fiction when it was created to become reality.
