The ice skating rink launched for the first time last year
St Luke's 'bombed out' Church has issued an update on the future of its Christmas ice skating rink. The festive activity appeared for the first time last year with tickets completely selling out. The ice skating rink was held within the church's ruins for a brief four-day period. A pop-up bar serving hot chocolate and mulled wine was also available while guests skated to a musical backdrop.
However, there is still plenty to enjoy around the city, including a few new arrivals. An immersive Christmas experience will take over Liverpool’s Kings Dock from Saturday, November 16 to Sunday, December 22. Families are invited on a theatrical adventure through 'Christmas Shire' where three enchanted yurts will pop up alongside the Wheel of Liverpool. The annual Christmas Markets are also back from Sunday, November 16, until Tuesday, December 24.
